8-Session Parent Coaching Package

Focus Area: Independence Quadrant — Building Self-Regulation and Autonomy

This individualized coaching journey supports parents in fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, and independence. Through the Growth Map approach, families learn to recognize how the nervous system, sensory processing, and executive functions shape behavior—and how to guide children from co-regulation toward confident self-management.

You’ll Learn To:

  • Understand your child’s brain-body connection and regulation patterns
  • Build emotional safety and secure attachment as the basis for change
  • Support sensory and cognitive regulation through play, rhythm, and movement
  • Create predictable routines and smoother transitions
  • Strengthen parental regulation and repair after conflict
  • Reinforce positive behavior through strength-based approaches
  • Integrate tools into real-life moments like mealtimes, bedtime, and school routines
  • Reflect on growth and celebrate progress together

Each session includes reflective tools, visual supports, and family activities for home practice—helping families build calm, confidence, and connection.

  • Understand how executive functions (working memory, planning, flexibility, self-monitoring) develop across childhood and adolescence
  • Build structure and visual supports that promote independence at home and school
  • Create consistent routines that reduce emotional and cognitive overload
  • Support flexibility and problem-solving during transitions or frustration
  • Scaffold organization skills like time management, task initiation, and persistence
  • Encourage intrinsic motivation and self-reflection rather than external rewards
  • Foster independence while maintaining emotional connection
  • Adapt strategies as your child grows into new stages of development
